HR Senior Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Senior Specialist with 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will oversee key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations.
This role requires a hands-on professional who understands the fast-paced, service-oriented nature of hospitality environments and can balance operational demands with strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for operational, supervisory, and administrative roles.
• Partner with department heads to forecast manpower needs and support workforce planning.
• Ensure timely hiring aligned with business demands and seasonal requirements.
• Support and strengthen employer branding within the hospitality market.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth employee integration and alignment with service culture.
• Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
• Manage disciplinary processes, investigations, and grievance handling.
• Support conflict resolution while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and support retention strategies.
• Promote a positive and service-driven workplace culture.
• Oversee probation reviews and annual performance appraisal processes.
• Guide managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs) and performance management practices.
• Support succession planning and employee development initiatives.
• Monitor HR KPIs aligned with operational performance and organizational goals.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and HR systems.
• Supervise attendance, leave management, and scheduling compliance.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
• Oversee contract management and HR documentation.
• Coordinate payroll processing with the finance team.
• Review overtime, incentives, service charges, and payroll deductions.
• Support compensation benchmarking in line with hospitality industry standards.
• Manage employee benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and hospitality regulations.
• Assist in developing and updating HR policies and standard operating procedures.
• Support internal audits and maintain HR compliance documentation.
• Ensure health, safety, and workplace standards are maintained.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality environments such as hotels, restaurants, fine dining, F&B groups, resorts, or event venues.
• Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing high employee turnover environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
