Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and support the company’s financial reporting and compliance processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions including reconciliations, reporting, and supervision of junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly accounts.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.

• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial analysis and reports.

• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and company financial policies.

• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.

• Monitor financial controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures.

• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff when required.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control.

• Prepare financial reports and financial analysis to support management decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with financial reconciliations, reporting, and audit preparation.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus.

• Experience in hospitality, F&B, or multi-venue operations is highly advantageous.
